The Latest News

The momentum in the presidential election is wavering between Barack Obama and John McCain, with the reliable FiveThirtyEight.com Web site suggesting a slight tilt to the Republican. Could Joe the Plumber be helping? :-O
The polls still favor Obama, though, and despite the fact that it was announced tonight that Obama would spend Thursday night and Friday in Hawaii to visit his ailing grandmother. The campaign will continue, hoping to keep the momentum going, and there's already some concern about that in a close race. But with the endorsement yesterday from Colin Powell and the general trend against the Republicans, I think the Obama campaign should do fine.
Sarah Palin might be helping Obama with her air-headed rhetoric about some parts of America more "pro-American" than others. I know foreign nationals in this country who have been more than scared by that rhetoric, but not as scared as I am!
Meanwhile, I have my own problems. Flickr just redid its home page, and Comcast redesigned its e-mail page. I can't comprehend either one of them now. :-O
