Sarah Palin recently declared the war in Iraq to be a directive from God, and that God blesses a new pipeline project in Alaska. Unless God invests in oil futures, I doubt that He takes that much interest in our geopolitics. Well, except for the morally dubious occupation of Baghdad.
The recent polls ahowing Palin to be a major asset to the Republican ticket and a detriment to the Obama campaign makes me wish Alaska's pro-independence party had been successful.
