So let me get this straight - General David Petraeus and U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker go before Congress to give their joint assessment of the progress of the war in Iraq and they have no clue of how it's going? And they endorse a plan that will bring some of our troops home by next summer but have the bulk of them in Iraq? Meanwhile, Bush is devising a plan to keep a permanent military force there to assure a victory that only he seems to envision.
We waited all summer for this? At least the Starr report against Clinton was sexy. :-O
