Steve Fosett, the adventurer who has piloted balloons and airplanes solo for long endurance runs simply to see if it can be done, is missing in the Nevada desert when his plane disappeared shortly after takeoff. My mother and I agree that this is what happens when you have too much money; you get bored to easily and you have to challenge yourself to do foolhardy things like Foseett. Geez, at least Lindbergh had a $25,000 prize to shoot for when he flew across the Atlantic solo in 1927. Fosett simply goes on these adventurous aviation trips to give himself a thrill.
It looks like Fosett got bored one time too many. He appears to have been bored . . . to death. :-O
