Roberts Moving On From CBS

Here's an update on CBS anchorman John Roberts, who camethisclose to succeeding Dan Rather as the nightly news anchor. Today, he is neither a CBS newsman nor an anchor. Roberts has moved to CNN, where he hopes to do more in the way of reporting, a job that Roberts (ironically, like Rather) finds more rewarding. Meanwhile, CBS is apparently thinking of a nightly news format that may involve Katie Couric and Jon Stewart. :-O

Remember, this is the same network that wants to give up on Tom Cavanagh after only a month. :-(
