Christmas 2005

Merry Christmas to my readers, and also a happy Hanukkah, which begins at sundown tonight. And, for those who celebrate it, I'd also like to wish you a joyful celebration of that week-long pseudoethnic tribute to failed Tanzanian Marxist economics, Kwanzaa. ;-)
Me, I'll be celebrating tomorrow that other un-American holiday, Boxing Day, a day based on the subversive idea that folks deserve not one, but two days off for Christmas, and the equally ludicrous notion that the local mail carrier deserves recognition for all of his or her past year of service.
I can't afford a present for him, so I'll give him a card. :-)
