Three weeks after Katrina struck the U.S. Gulf Coast, Hurricane Rita - now battering Key West, Florida - could send some rain over to New Orleans if not hit it outright. This will only make it even more difficult - if not downright impossible - for New Orleans to recover from the previous storm. Current forecasts (I know, it's oxymoronic) predict Rita to hit Texas at the end of the week. The barrier island city of Galveston could be especially affected. That's the best-case scenario.
