While reading the paper today, I scanned the celebrity birthday segment and thought I read, "Olympic track-and-field god Bruce Jenner is 53." That's what happens when you read too fast; it actually said, "Olympic track-and-field gold medalist Bruce Jenner is 53." Well, Jenner is something of a track and field god; heck, he's the Eric Clapton of decathletes!
