I said that there were "261 million Americans of voting age - myself included - who didn't watch the Super Bowl because they don't care about American football." Actually, 261 million is the number of all Americans of voting age. Assuming that the ratings for the Super Bowl only covered Americans 18 and older - and I believe they did - that means that 138 million Americans of voting age didn't watch. Not much more than those who died, but that still means more people either watched something else on TV or did something else entirely than watched football, which means that Joe Biden probably didn't give up much of an opportunity to reach people, as I argued.
The numerical error on my original blog post has been corrected.
