Defame and Fortune

I ripped off the title from Jen Psaki.  Sorry, Jen.

Elizabeth Jean Carroll is a happy woman, having won $83.3 million in her defamation case against Donald Trump, who bullied and slandered the woman he was proven to have raped in a New York Department store in 1996.  She stood up against Trump and won - something very few people can say.  Carroll says she plans to give a good deal of the money to something Donald Trump hates, which I assume means she's going to invest in an affordable-housing project n a former golf course.

She'd better not count on counting her Franklins, though.  She's not likely to see a cent of this money any time soon, given Trump's special gift for delaying punishment and appealing everything to death.  But it's still an important moral victory, and it should give more courage to anyone who has the desire to fight back against Trump.  No need for that on this blog; I've been fighting back against Trump for years.
