Needless To Say . . .

Needless to say, I didn't watch Wednesday night's Republican presidential debate.
Needless to say, Donald Trump did not show up.
Needless to say, Chris Christie got discombobulated by Trump's absence and tried instead to trip up Vivek Ramaswamy by comparing him to Barack Obama as an inexperienced presidential candidate with a funny name.
Needless to say, Christie's subliminally racist attack on Ramaswamy didn't work.
Needless to say, he was still right about Ramaswamy.  Being an American of non-Western origin and being picked on by a white political opponent doesn't make you a martyr when your political objectives are farther to the right than the white political opponent who's picking on you.
Needless to say, Tim Scott showed a nice, positive demeanor.  Needless to say, no one cared.
Needless to say, Mike Pence based his opposition to abortion on his Christian principles.  Needless to say, he did not win any Jewish voters.
Needless to say, apart from Christie and Asa Hutchinson, everyone raised their hands to express their support of Trump should he be the 2024 Republican presidential nominee.  Even Pence, whom Trump tried to have hung on January 6, 2021.
Needless to say . . . I don't need to say a word about Nikki Haley or Doug Burgum.  I do need to say that Ron DeSantis was there.  I also need to say that I have no idea what he said about . . . anything.
Needless to say, Donald Trump will be the 2024 Republican presidential nominee.
Needless to say, I really ought to start working on that Kon-Tiki raft to escape to the Azores.
