U.S. Phantom Representative George Santos (R-Fantasyland) has announced that he will recuse himself from his assignments on the House Small Business and Science Committees while waiting for charges against his finances - now under investigation by federal prosecutors - to be dropped do his name can be cleared.
Which one? 😃
Meanwhile, the congressman sometimes known as Anthony Devolder is facing charges that contributors to his 2022 House campaign have been made up. I assume that would be a hard case to prove, as I imagine it would be hard to trace the names on his list. Among the names are:

Oh yeah, I have just made these names up. But the made-up names on Santos' list are, ironically, for real.
