The January 6 Hearings: The End

The January 6 House select committee held its final hearing to announce that it will make criminal referrals for Donald Trump to the Justice Department on four charges: obstruction of an official proceeding, conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to make a false statement, and conspiracy to defraud the United States by assisting, aiding or comforting those involved in an insurrection.
And as soon as the committee members release their full report, which will show just how much Trump was involved in the blunt attempt to overturn the presidential election of 2020, as well as send its findings to the Justice Department for its own investigations of Trump, they will disband the committee before possibly incoming House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has the pleasure of doing it himself.
Other people, including John Eastman, Rudolph Giuliani, and other assorted male Caucasians, are also likely to be charged with treason or sedition, but Trump remains the top Katzenjammer.  Independent counsel Jack Smith is ramping up his own investigation full speed, an in Atlanta, Fani Willis is pushing ahead in investigating Trump's efforts to overturn the election in Georgia.  And the January 6 committee's work made it increasingly likely that Trump (who, unlike Martin O'Malley, is a 2024 presidential candidate!) is going to be indicted and possibly convicted for something.
On the plus side for the Trumps, Melania will get to knock 'em dead at Mar-a-Lago's Britney Spears karaoke night! 😃
