I don't have anything to say about the shooting of eight people, six of whom were Asian-American women, at spas in the Atlanta area this past Tuesday, apart from the fact that, despite insistences to the contrary, it was clearly a hate crime. Having had several Asian-American women as friends, I'm too stunned to put any of my feelings into words.
