Clarification: February 16, 2013

In a post published on January 10, 2013, I wrote that Tennessee Republican congresswoman Marsha Blackburn, who is allied with men in the war on women, had "introduced a bill to defend Planned Parenthood for offering abortions." It was supposed to read that she "introduced a bill to defund Planned Parenthood for offering abortions." I got one letter wrong, and that made all the difference. But of course, no Tennessee Republican - not even a female Tennessee Republican - would ever defend Planned Parenthood for offering abortions. The original error, which I regret, has since been corrected.
