Less than a month after Tim Russert died of a heart attack, Tony Snow - former Fox News commentator, Detroit News columnist, speechwriter for the senior George Bush, and press secretary for W. - died of cancer.
I won't pretend I was a fan of Tony Snow, having disagreed with his conservative opinions. On the other hand, say what you will about the Abominable Snowman - right-winger, BS artist, Bush family stooge - no one ever said he was an idiot, which is exactly what several people have been saying about Dana Perino, his successor as White House spokesperson, a woman so ignorant of recent history she can't explain the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962 and laughs off her own ignorance.
