Well, Eliot Spitzer resigned as governor of New York, putting his state in an unflattering light normally associated with New Jersey. But the media obsession with the story is so great that the press somehow overlooked the House of Representatives' failure to override George W. Bush's veto of a bill banning torture.
We're now being tortured by CNN or MSNBC turning into the Spitzer Channel - all Eliot, all the time.
