Tony Blair is out and Gordon Brown is in. The British Chancellor of the Exchequer assumed the post of Prime Minister of Great Britain, replacing a man who started with aspirations of being a great world leader, only to stumble on the fact that God - or the Muses, the Pentagon, Condolezza Rice, or someone - dictated that he be an apologist stooge for American neoconservatives and their dangerous world view. The British are already better off with Brown in charge - as a Scot, maybe he'll have better, tighter control over U.K. government expenditures - but the best news is that the Brits don't have anyone for Bush to boss around anymore.
Rule Britannia, and God save the Queen. :-)
