Once again, New Jersey is in the hands of the state Senate president. Richard Codey stepped in as acting governor after Governor Corzine was involved in a serious accident. I'm beginning to wonder if the governor's office is cursed.
So now Codey not only has the responsibilty of keeping the state running, but he's also had dealing with a major nor'easter thrust upon him. Yes, even though it's April, and even though we in the Northeast thought we'd been spared this kind of weather until December, we have a major rainstorm forecast for tomorrow that could cause flooding, power outages, beach erosion, and, in upstate New York, a blizzard or two.
The effects of global warming, maybe? :-O
