All right, let's get things up to speed before I close the book on February. . . .
Two news stories just caught my eye. While visiting the United Arab Emirates, Prince Charles of Great Britain complained that McDonald's is unhealthy and should be banned. The Brits professed to be embarrassed by the royal swipe against the fast food giant, and a press release was quickly issued to explain that the prince's remark was not meant for public consumption. Neither is the food served at McDonald's!
Also, Vice President Dick Cheney was in a military compound in Afghanistan that was attacked by Taliban commandos, but Cheney himself escaped injury. Thank goodness. As they say, if Cheney dies, Bush will become President! :-O
And another February bites the dust . . .
