"The Daily Show"'s Jon Stewart is getting really vicious lately. After showing a clip of the sober Michigan senator Carl Levin discuss Iraq policy, Stewart referred to him as "Grandpa Munster" for his sallow countenance and hunched frame. Then Stewart made fun of Iowa governor Tom Vilsack for announcing his candidacy for President in 2008. . . because of his last name! "VIL-sack? Ain't gonna happen!" laughed the former Jonathan Stuart Liebowitz.
Maybe Stewart feels he ought to pick on Democrats more to prove he's not partisan, but these jabs are bringing him into the witless realm of Rush Limbaugh territory. :-O
