Okay, I'm back. I went to Bennington, Vermont for a couple of days and I had a nice time. I saw the mansion of Robert Todd Lincoln (son of the sixteenth President) nearby. Sadly, due to the waether and due to autumn scenery that wasn't as great as I hoped (the leaves still haven't peaked up there yet), I only took two pictures.
And look at everything that I happened since I was gone. North Korea supposedly tested a nuclear warhead, the Republicans are getting more desperate in the fall election campaigns, and a Yankees pitcher accidentally killed himself by flying his plane into a Manhattan high-rise today, which had led to the possibility of 10/11 joining 9/11 in the minds of New Yorkers until terrorism had been ruled out.
I can't make sense out of any of it.
But I'm still here . . .
