Liberals have reason to dread Friday the 13th. It was today that Air America Radio declared bankruptcy after failing to negotiate favorable terms with one of its creditors. This comes less than a year after Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. declared that conservative talk radio was on the wane. Meanwhile, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity look to be on the air until the end of time - which, if North Korea does have the bomb, could probably come next Tuesday.
Although Air America will remain on the air during bankruptcy proceedings, this should serve as a lesson to leftists all across this once-great land of ours. That is, liberal talk radio is an oxymoron. If you have a microphone and want to lash out at the white conservative political establishment, join a rap group.
Meanwhile, Jane Fonda and Gloria Steinem are starting a talk radio network for women, having apparently been convinced that what America really needs is more talk radio.
