The Second Life of Al Gore

Would you believe that Al Gore has risen from the dead? A political pariah a mere five years ago, he's now storming the country talking about the need to combat global warming, and everyone in America - excpet the people who actually run this country - is listening. Thanks to his documentary movie An Inconvenient Truth, people are more hip to what rising temperatures and melting ice caps can mean for the future. Of course, there's not much we can do about it, because government subsidies for fossil-fuel industries make it hard to change our behavior. (If you can actually take the train to work or subscribe to a solar electricity service, you're a rare specimen, my fellow American.) Could this set up Gore for a possible comeback for the 2008 presidential election? Gore says he's not running, but Democrats are looking hard to find an alternative to Hillary. :-O
