Undiplomatic

The Democrats have been accused of playing politics with the insufferable John Bolton's nomination to be United Nations ambassador. Wow. . . playing politics with a political appointment! What next, Pope Benedict XVI invoking religion to back up his agenda?

Anyway, Senators Joseph Biden (D-DE ) and Christopher Dodd (D-CT) have been accused of this because they have been instrumental in delaying a final vote on Mr. Milk Moustache, despite the fact that the ideologically driven xenophobe will get the U.N. appointment because his supporters have the votes. But Biden and Dodd want records involving Bolton's history in government service that could influence enough senators to change their minds and kill this bad idea of a nomination. They wouldn't be pursuing this, I'm sure, if they thought they couldn't stop him.
