I don't like Mondays . . .

Today I wanted to go to the library, but I had to stay home and figure out this new computer connection we ordered. See, my mom thought it would be a great idea to get DSL and allow one of us - usually me - to use the computer while the other - usually Mom - uses the telephone. Except we need a Network Interface Card (NIC) to make our system work. The kit we got. . . doesn't include an NIC!

Oh yeah, my favorite music message board is also going off the Internet at the end of this month after a five-year run.
