The Fight Against 'Fahrenheit 9/11'

Fahrenheit 9/11 is all the buzz as it goes into general release, and already the right is trying to stop it in any way they can. First they threatened theater owners and managers with boycotts and worse if they (the theater operators) showed it, but that didn't work. Now an ultraconservative activist group is filing a complaint with the Federal Elections Commission against the ads on TV for Michael Moore's movie, saying the political nature of the ads and the inclusion of George W. Bush in them violate campaign finance laws.
They're grasping at straws here.
It's highly unlikely that the FEC will rule in this group's favor, though even if Moore were to pull television ads for his movie tomorrow, "Fahrenheit 9/11," to be perfectly frank, doesn't need any paid advertising. Thanks to free media publicity, people pretty much already know about it! :-D
