Sticky Rice

Well, Condolezza Rice testified before the 9/11 commission today, and she pretty much spent three hours saying nothing. She tried to defend Bush's handling of terrorism in the weeks leading up to the September 11 attacks, but if anything, she only proved Richard Clarke's assertion that no one in the White House knew what the heck was going on. Bush was pleased with Rice's testimony - probably because it didn't answer any questions - but some people suspect that it may have only asked new ones, particularly about what Bush knew before 9/11 and what he did about the gathering threat. Not good.
