More Questions . . . More Answers

Once again, I answer some questions about me:
What are you reading right now? Thomas Pynchon's "The Crying of Lot 49," an appropriate choice given the state of affairs in California today.
What are you listening to on your stereo these days? Five Leaves Left, the late British singer-songwriter Nick Drake's 1969 debut album. Powerful stuff.
What news story is on your mind right now? The death of actor/ dancer Gregory Hines, who succumbed to cancer at 57. Very sad.
Are you writing anything for publication now? Not yet, but I have a couple of promising possibilities. I'll get back to you on that.
How's the weather in New Jersey? It's been pretty good - temperatures in the low eighties, high humidity, and frequent periods of rain.
And that's good? It's better than the record-breaking heat wave they've been having in Europe lately.
Is that wave of 100-degree-Fahrenheit weather in Europe divine retribution for opposition in the Old Country to the war in Iraq? You'll have to ask Pat Robertson that.
What's your prediction for the outcome of the recall election in California? Gray Davis will be ousted, and Gary Coleman will be elected by a handful of voters who cast a ballot for him out of sympathy, thinking he's not going to win anyway.
Why would anyone have sympathy for Gary Coleman? He had to work with Todd Bridges, didn't he?
Good point. Thank you. :-) Well, I guess that's it for Q and A for now. Until next time . . ..
