The United States Navy is using trained dolphins in the Persian Gulf to detect Iraqi mines, among other duties. You know, it really sickens me that not only do we human beings have to commit acts of stupidity like war, we even have to involve the other beings on this planet in perpetrating such acts. If humans want to make war on each other, fine - but why can't we leave the animals out of it?
