The gentleman illegally occupying the White House, George Walker Bush, has decreed that henceforth the United States of America is omnipotent and reserves the right to be militarily stronger than the rest of the world to preserve that omnipotence.
Doesn't Dub the Shrub (so I call our pseudo-Commander-in-Chief) realize that all nations eventually fall as certainly as they rise? Someone give him the Cliff's Notes version of Edward Gibbon's The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, please (assuming he can read even that!).
