No Preference?

When a deranged right-wing anti-abortion terrorist shot up a Planned Parenthood facility in Colorado Springs, among the Republican presidential candidates, only Mike Huckabee - believe it or not - called it for what it was, an act of terrorism.  The other Republican candidates could have easily made a similar condemnation.  But they apparently would prefer not to.
When a social services building in San Bernardino, California, is shot up, leaving fourteen people dead and seventeen others wounded, Republican presidential candidates and lawmakers offer their prayers  They could offer to do something about guns.  But they apparently would prefer not to.
The climate-change summit opened in Paris, a city known for its intellectual and scientific curiosity.  Republicans are known for neither of those things, and the GOP presidential candidates are likely to dismiss the Paris summit before the participants have even come up with ideas for how to stop climate change.  The GOP wants to stop anyone trying to stop climate change.  I suppose the candidates should take this summit seriously, as any agreements made would likely affect the next President's administration.  But they apparently prefer not to.
I suppose I could tell you what I really think of the fourteen GOP presidential candidates running for their party's 2016 presidential nomination.
But I would prefer not to.
Ah, humanity!

I prefer to believe you are absolutely right about the GOP. I wish more people would see the light.
