So how was my Labor Day? I had to to go to the same department stores two separate times so my mother could return something and cancel an order for a bulky item she bought on impulse at one store, and we went to another store to buy a bedspread she almost bought on impulse the first time, but didn't. Got all that? The second time we went, the bulky item had already been processed at the one store and the bedspread at the other store had already been sold. She had to go on the computer to cancel the bulky item and buy online the bedspread she wanted . . . but we still had to make a second trip to the mall to return a separate item.
As a great man once sang, what do you to have to pay to get out of going through all of these things twice?
Which brings me to the unpleasant subject of pre-Halloween storms . . . :-O
