Whenever I watch the political talk shows on the cable news channels, I pity the white men who have to go up against a woman or person of color, because they end up getting their rear ends handed to them. If you find Melissa Harris-Perry on a panel, you can bet that she's the smartest person on it. Even if Chris Hayes is with her to join in on her side. This has led me to conclude that the degree of intelligence among Americans is inversely proportional to the degree of light skin and testosterone. In other words, the paler and maler you are, the dumber you are.
It's a problem Mitt Romney has recognized and has attempted to do something about, particularly in making his case with minority audiences, as he recently did on Univision in reaching out to Hispanics. There's nothing he can do about his maleness, but he did make an effort to do something about his other deficiency.
Because he can't have anyone thinking he's an idiot. :-p :-D
