My Windows 7-powered personal computer sent me a message to download two new updates, one of which was Internet Explorer 9. This new browser, Microsoft promised, would improve Internet performance and be easier to use.
I wouldn't have downloaded it if Microsoft hadn't insisted it was essential to do so. Now I have to get used to a new browser after only less than two months getting the hang of a new PC. And it doesn't seem to have been worth it. Is it just me, or are YouTube videos a little blurrier on this IE9 thing? And I've had to install other programs on the side just to make other functions work. Not to mention call tech support to make Blogger.com work right; I was getting a Javascript error that prevented me from publishing anything.
Oh well, I'm stuck with it, I can't go back. I'll probably adjust to it eventually. After all, it took time to get used to Internet Explorer 8.
