Speaking of Hispanic culture . . .. In Latin America, today - Tuesday the thirteenth - is, like Friday the thirteenth in the U.S. and Canada, is considered unlucky. This was certainly an unlucky day for Democrats. George W. Bush got a public relations boost from his surprise trip to Baghdad, and Karl Rove will not be indicted in the Valerie Plame case. This frees Rove to manage Bush's stunt to get his poll numbers up and to proceed to smash the Democrats into a thousand pieces in November.
Tuesday the thirteenth. . . . Ole! :-O
