Geena Davis and I, as of today, have something in common - we're both unemployed!
ABC cancelled Davis's series "Commander In Chief" today; after a strong start in the ratings, the series lost momentum after a few producer and time-slot changes. This fall, a woman won't be President!
Meanwhile, I was laid off from my job after budget cuts caused my position to be eliminated, throwing the rest of what promised to be a wonderful year four months ago in doubt. In fact, 2006 is turning out to be the worst year for me since last year.
I have more to bitch about, but I'm too exasperated to continue. :-(
